Erectile dysfunction (ED) is one of the most common male sexual health problems, with at least 10% of men suffering from ED at some point in their lives. 

 

Medication is now the most popular and effective method for treating ED.

 

Symptoms

 

ED means that you cannot get or maintain an erection long enough to have sex properly. In some cases the penis can become partly erect, in other cases there may be no hardening of the penis at all.

 

Most men with ED are in reasonable health, but it may be a symptom of problems with your circulation. All men with ED should tell their GPs, as it can be an early warning sign that heart disease or other cardiovascular disease may develop. It can also be a symptom of conditions such high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.
